Guide for Dropshipping Clothes

Because of the rapid growth of dropshiping business, many clothing retailers have began to offer dropshipping services. Basically dropshipping clothes is not different from shipping any other type of goods, apart from that You Need to be much more accurate, because nobody likes seeing refunds.

There are several ways to sell clothes. Of course the most popular way is selling them on eBay and Amazon, but you can always go further than that, for example open your own ecommerce site.

It’s still the best to start out with eBay and try other options after you are more experienced with dropshipping. Remember to stay professional, make your auction pages informative and don’t forget to add images of the product, you can usually get them from the suppliers website.

Selling low quality products might be tempting, because of the low price, but I would rather suggest you to sell products with good quality. Otherwise you will end up with lots of refunds and lots of negative feedback, which will destroy your credibility on eBay.

Another important factor is a brand name, because this is the main deciding factor for most of the people. Also, there are many suppliers who sell replicas, which are copies of the original product, this is another thing that I’d suggest you to stay away from. Once people get their product and see it’s a copy, it’s extremely likely that they’ll ask for a refund and you’ll end up with negative feedback.

Also, try to find the latest and fashionable products, there are lots of suppliers who are trying to get rid of their old merchandise by using dropshippers, but there is no use wasting your time with these products, they simply won’t sell.

Now to the biggest problem – finding quality and legitimate clothing suppliers. Picking a completely unknown company is definitely not a way to go since you might end up with a scammer.

Sadly, this is starting to get really common, whether they are scammers or simply unprofessional and unreliable.

To avoid a problems like this you need a directory of verified suppliers. One of the most popular ones is Salehoo, you have probably heard about them before if you’re in dropshipping business. They only list legitimate suppliers and they have a huge and constantly growing database.
